Our Lineage
Our family are all direct descendents of  the royal Capetian houses of France, Eleanor of Aquitaine and dozens of other royals.

Our family emigrated to Italy in 1266 at the behest of the Pope who had befriended
Carlo D’Angio, our 32nd great-grandfather who  was the King of Southern Italy and Sicily.  He held many titles including King of the Kingdom of Two Sicilies, Count of Anjou(France), Count of Maine(France), Count of Provenza(Italy), King of Naples, Prince of Taranto(Italy), King of Albania and titular King of Jerusalem.  He was the brother of  Louis IX of France (St. Louis).  His maternal grandmother was Eleanor of Aquitaine, the richest women in the history of the world, who alternately married to the King of France, the King of England and gave birth to two kings, including King John, who signed the magna carta in 1215.

Carlo D'Angiò  was born on  March 21, 1226 and died on January 7,1285.
